eCaringeCaring - Better Lives Through Better Care

Our mission is to make home health care better for people and families affected by Alzheimer's.  eCaring is an innovative, low cost, web-based system to gather & share home care information.  Our easy-to-use, icon-based system enables home care workers, Alzheimer’s caregivers, and seniors themselves to enter comprehensive information about care, conditions, status, and activity of a Alzheimer’s home care recipient, regardless of computer skills or English literacy.  eCaring tracks important dementia-related behaviors including eating, sleeping, mental state, wandering, and much more. The system uses the Internet to generate a digital record of Alzheimer’s care from inside the home.  eCaring provides peace of mind by notifying you right away when a situation develops that requires attention, such as a fall. We are helping keep those with Alzheimer’s at home longer and avoiding expensive hospital visits or a move to institutional care.  eCaring can also be used to keep track of the paid caregiver’s hours and activities.
